Story about Ro Chai, a Montagnard village civic action program to improve their health 11 December - 2 missionaries and a chaplain.
- Ben Cat 502d Battalion 101st Airborne combat operation @ Michelin Rubber Plantation. Viet Cong tunnel found, enemy land mine clearing, Chaplain conduct service in the field, mortar fire is launched at sniper; mission called off due to no contact with enemy.
- An Khe base, 1st Cavalry Division Airmobile, is shown during Dec 9th through 11th.
Helicopter maintenance is ongoing. The prop and rotor shop works inside a tent.
The base is nicknamed "the Golf Course" & its air field is full of helicopters. The CH47 Chinook is shown as a large workhorse. Also on base is a military museum of captured enemy weapons, and CV2 Caribou and C130 aircraft use the airfield as does the odd-looking CH54A "Flying Crane."
229th Aviation Battalion is shown in an air operation, being fired upon by Viet Cong.
Emphasized is air mobility and the 1st Cav's role in delivering munitions and personnel.
